DEBION® VARIO Spiral gabions

WDM Deutenberg manufactures DEBION® VARIO spiral gabions in wire thicknesses from 3.0 mm to 6.0 mm, from zinc-aluminium wire or from stainless steel grids in the desired quality, in the most modern production facilities, in perfect quality. Spiral gabions allow on-site adjustments and are delivered in individual parts. As stone baskets and wire gravel baskets, our spiral gabions guarantee long lasting safety and a wide range of design options.

• Salt mist spray test > 6,000 hours according to DIN EN ISO 9227

• Shear strength > 75% of the tensile strength of the wire according to DIN EN 10223-8

Versatile gabion stone baskets

The stone baskets are used effectively and efficiently in the construction of noise protection walls, the construction of dry walls or in general landscaping. The gabions also ensure a high level of stability and long-term safety for the protection of banks or as a gabion retaining wall to strengthen dykes and dams. With edge wires, the gabions are given a special strength, so that even with constant stress on soils in bank locations, they are long-lasting and secure.
