Gabions from WDM Deutenberg consist of specially designed gabion grids that are connected to each other with wire spirals or rods. This allows space-saving and cost-effective transportation and enables quick, uncomplicated assembly. Alternatively, as a gabion manufacturer, we also manufacture the elements for factory-filled stone baskets, which only have to be set up on site.

Spiral gabions for durable mesh baskets

Spiral gabions are preferably used to manufacture stone baskets or gravel baskets. For this purpose, WDM Deutenberg manufactures gabion mats with surrounding wire, which are connected to each other on site using a spiral steel rod. Spiral gabions are characterized above all by their high resilience and flexibility. They can be manufactured in a wide variety of dimensions and linked together as desired.

Push rod gabions for soundproofing and walls

Rod gabions are mainly used for the construction of noise protection walls and dry stone walls. WDM Deutenberg manufactures special gabion grids with free wire ends for this. These wire ends are then bent into an eyelet and spot welded. When assembling the gabion, a rod is passed through these eyelets, which ensures a permanently stable connection. Stick rod gabions offer an even surface appearance and thus a distinctively high aesthetics.

Individual and series production as required

WDM Deutenberg uses drawn steel wires with a diameter of up to 6 mm to manufacture the gabions and wire mesh. Large quantities can be realized in series production as well as individual one-off production. In order to achieve the required corrosion resistance, we usually manufacture all components for gabions from zinc-aluminum wire. For maximum durability and particularly high aesthetic standards, we can also produce stainless steel gabions on request.

Gabion mats, manufactured exactly as required

The decisive component of gabions are spot-welded grid mats. They are manufactured using the spot welding process and are characterized by extremely high strength. We manufacture these gabion grids using the newest production facilities that can be flexibly adjusted to a wide variety of designs. The combination of wire thickness, mesh size and wire strength allows you to achieve exactly the strength required for the respective application.
