DEBION® ATROX push rod gabions

The DEBION® ATROX push rod gabions from WDM Deutenberg are supplied in wire thicknesses between 3.0 mm and 6.0 mm and, depending on customer requirements, made of zinc-aluminium wire, as a stainless steel mesh or in a hot-dip galvanized version. Rod gabions get their shape through their connection with a rod that is guided through the welded eyelets. Stick rod gabions are filled on site just like our spiral gabions.

​The versatile gabions are known for their design options and combine flexibility, aesthetics and secure stability. The wire gravel baskets are characterized by their high durability and corrosion resistance. Environmentally friendly, cost-effective and aesthetic, the Gabion lattices with eyelets can be used in a wide variety of areas as stone baskets in landscaping or for Noise protection walls and barriers and in drywall construction.

• High zinc-aluminium coating > 350 g/m²
• Zinc-aluminium coating approx. 95% zinc / approx. 5% aluminium
• Salt mist spray test > 6,000 hours according to DIN EN ISO 9227
• Wire tensile strength > 500 N/mm²
• Shear strength > 75% of the tensile strength of the wire according to DIN EN 10223-8

Easy installation and long lasting security

The flexibility combined with the strength of the gabions with welded eyelets and plug-in locking system allows easy installation and provides constant long lasting security, even on soils on the edge of the bank. Here, the wire gravel floors ensure permanent stability as a water-permeable attachment.
